Today is Free Comic Book Day and we made the most of it from the very start.
We began the morning at Bookhounds where we spent time browsing records and enjoying the atmosphere. From there we headed over to In Your Wildest Dreams to pick up comics from The Retro Handheld. While we were there, we also enjoyed some Jittery Geeks treats, including a Captain America concha and a selection of delicious drinks. We spent about two hours at the event soaking it all in.
Afterward, we picked up a few records and a postcard before stopping by Diverted Comics to see what they had available. My husband knows the owner so we stayed for a nice chat before heading out to lunch at Coconut Joe’s.

The ones we were most excited about were Planet of the Apes | Alien | Predator and Avengers Armageddon!
It has been such a fun and full day, and a perfect way to celebrate Free Comic Book Day.
