One of my favorite places to visit in my city is BookHounds Used Bookstore. It is the kind of shop where you can easily lose track of time browsing through shelves filled with used books, vinyl records, comics, CDs, and DVDs.
A few weekends ago, I stopped in and noticed something exciting. They had the complete AFTER series. I already owned the first book, After, so I picked up the remaining four novels to finally complete the set.
I have seen the AFTER movies before and remember enjoying the first two. It has been a few years since I watched any of them, which actually feels like a good thing. Now that I have the books, I can experience the original story as it was written first, without the films influencing my imagination or distracting my focus while reading.
I am excited to dive into the series and finally experience the full story the way it was originally told.
