Life Lately: Cozy Hobbies, Spooky Finds & New Adventures

FIND ME

Right now, I'm not able to sit at my desk and blog from my computer, so I found another way to keep posting. I've been using the microphone on my phone to record my thoughts, then copying and pasting everything into a blog post.

This past weekend, I used my wheelchair in public for the very first time. At Sam's Club, Jonathan had to push the shopping cart, so I pushed myself through the store. I quickly realized just how huge Sam's Club is when I had to make my way back through the entire store. After that, Jonathan was able to push me through the rest of the stores we visited.

We stopped at Target and Michael's, where everyone was finally putting out their spooky season decorations. It was so much fun to see all of the Halloween displays, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else comes out over the next few weeks.

I've also been spending a lot of time enjoying cozy hobbies, which I've always loved. Lately, I've been coloring, working on crossword puzzles, solving cryptograms and other code-breaking puzzles, playing brain games, and building LEGO sets. Jonathan recently got me into LEGO after we built our first small set together, and now we're both hooked. He got me the Wednesday Addams Black Dahlia LEGO set and a Grogu set, and I can't wait to put them together.

I've also been rewatching some of my favorite shows. Cruel SummerRevenge, and Pretty Little Liars are constantly playing in the background. In the evenings, Jonathan and I usually watch The X-Files, and we also watch Big Brother, whenever it's on. It's the only reality show we follow.

We recently finished The Vampire Lestat, and it was so good. I'm really excited that the next season will be covering Queen of the Damned. We've been waiting a long time for that story, so I'm happy the character was introduced in Season 3 and will be the focus of Season 4.

The newest series I started is FURIOUS on Hulu. It's about an FBI agent who goes undercover to capture a female serial killer. They released the first three episodes, and I watched all of them. I'm already hooked and can't wait for the next episode. If you're into crime thrillers, I'd definitely recommend it.

Jonathan and I have also started planning our next vacation, and I'm so excited. If you've followed my blog for a while, you know I never share where we're going or when until after we've gotten back, so I'll keep those details to myself for now. I will say that we're going somewhere neither of us has ever been before, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm also excited about the hotel. I found a hotel company that always seems to have locations within about ten minutes of wherever we're traveling, and they've been so convenient. Every one we've stayed at has been beautiful, and this will be our first time visiting this location. I can't wait to see what it's like.
