We went to my parents' house for an early birthday celebration, and it was such a fun day. As soon as I got there, my dad handed me my watch. He had gotten the battery replaced for me, which was so sweet.
My parents had decorated a special area just for my birthday, and I loved it. My mom made the best hard shell tacos, and they surprised me with the cutest Grogu birthday cake. They also gave me the loveliest card and some amazing presents.
I love everything they gave me, but I was especially stoked to get Riverdale. It is totally one of my vibes.

They got me this cute “It’s my birthday” badge.

I’m looking forward to wearing my new cardigan.

On Saturday, I went to my parents’ house again in the morning. After that, we came back home and got ready to meet up with my in laws to celebrate my birthday again.
We met up for lunch at one of our favorite spots in the city, Coconut Joe’s. Moe, my father in law, even sang me a little birthday tune, which made the moment extra special. It was really nice to spend time together and catch up.

After lunch, we went to Five Below since they had never been before. They are just like us and get really excited about cute little things, so we knew they would love it. Of course, we all ended up leaving with a few things, which was no surprise. They are actually opening one of these stores close to our home soon, and we are all planning to go together to check it out. I hope they hurry up because I will definitely be there all the time. Haha

After parting ways with them, Jonathan and I stopped by Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream since a new location just opened near our home. It’s such a cute ice cream shop, and I’m really glad it’s now on our side of the city. I love that this location has both indoor and outdoor seating. Southwest is the best!

They had just released a new vegan option, so we asked the worker to split mine so I could try both flavors. I got Coffee Truffle and Peanut Butter. It was amazing.
Here’s a short video from our local news covering the opening.
We ran around and did a few other things, then just enjoyed each other’s company. Since it was Independence Day, we soaked the entire house, backyard, and front yard because there were illegal fireworks going off everywhere. We did not want to take any chances.
After watering everything down, we came inside, made dinner, and watched Twilight. The fireworks went on until midnight, so we did not get much sleep.

This morning we woke up, made breakfast, did some house cleaning and laundry, and now I am just blasting music, blogging, and may play a game until Jonathan gets home.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
